CertWatch.io provides SSL/TLS certificate monitoring and website uptime monitoring services through APIs and web interfaces. The Service includes:

  • Certificate expiration monitoring
  • Certificate validation checks
  • Website uptime monitoring
  • Subdomain discovery for domains you configure
  • Alert notifications
  • API access for programmatic monitoring
  • Dashboard and reporting features

3. Account Registration

3.1. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.

3.2. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and API keys.

3.3. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.4. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to monitor domains you don’t own or have explicit permission to monitor
  • Attempt to overwhelm, disable, or impair the Service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Transmit any malicious code through the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt other users’ use of the Service

5. Service Quotas and Limits

5.1. Your use is subject to the quotas and limits of your subscription plan.

5.2. Exceeding quotas may result in service suspension or additional charges.

5.3. We reserve the right to modify quotas with 30 days’ notice.

6. Payment Terms

6.1. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.

6.2. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

6.3. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of service.

6.4. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1. Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy.

7.2. You grant us the right to process monitoring data to provide the Service.

7.3. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. The Service and its original content remain our exclusive property.

8.2. You retain ownership of data you provide to the Service.

8.3. You grant us a license to use your data solely to provide the Service.

9. Service Availability

9.1. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

9.2. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

9.3. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Termination

13.1. Either party may terminate the agreement at any time.

13.2. We may suspend or terminate your access for Terms violations.

13.3. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13.4. Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect.

14. Changes to Terms

14.1. We may modify these Terms at any time.

14.2. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Service.

14.3. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
